Spring Awakening

Went to NYC to visit the Museum at The Fashion Institute of Technology. The exhibits were amazing! I lopve looking at clothes from past decades and seeing how people of those times dressed. They was also a Japanese fashion exhibit showcasing Japanese street fashion. Best way to describe it is like a clash of everything into one outfit...very creative. afterwards my sister and I grabbed a drink, chilled enjoyed the Springy weather in NYC.

Cardigan,Harem Pants, Purse, shirt- H&M
Oxfords-Bakers
Sunnies, ring, belt - Forever 21

To celebrate this unexpected gust of hot air (80 degrees) I decided to pair a ladylike, ruffly, cardigan with these bold harem pants. I love the pattern on the pants.. it upgrades any outfit. This cream and tan canvas purse i LOVE. It's so summery and is a breath of fresh air from the heavy dark leathers we've seen all winter long. Finally I pulled the look together with comfy oxfords because I was not beat for all that walking I knew I had to do in Nyc.

Smoke until the days end...

Sooo my girls and I went to KUSH in NYC to have a good time and and let loose once more before we all had to head back to school =[ (goodbye spring break) but we ended it with a bang! Had a great time parting, drinking and acting a fool. Oh, and I also tried Hookah for the first time....

LOL..so I am the most anal person about not having smoke of any kind around me..I hate the smell of tobacco and everything that has to do with smoking BUT the drinks got to me this night. Not to mention the flavors offered and this little hookah contraption made me just try it. lol I know hookah is not tobacco and it is supposedly "safer" than smoking cigarettes. I just threw caution to the wind and went for it....

And I must say I enjoyed myself! I got the mango flavored one and it actually tasted like mango more than it smelled. I didn't choke like a thought would and it went down pretty smoothly lol. but I don't I will be doing this again. After the night was over I was so worried and hoping my lungs were ok lol. I know, I know.... well hmmm, maybe I take just one puff LOL

78 coastal scents palette

Beauty Finds!

I purchase these two nail polush colors both from Katy Perry's line from OPI. The pink
one is called Teenage Dream and the blue one is Last Friday Night. Both feature a ton of sparkle and you have really layer these colors on to get the full effect. These are perfect for a fun, carefree night out on the town!

Beauty Finds!

So I have been really inerested in all things makeup! I've been watching youtube vids about makeup tutorials and the ladies there are very talented. They definitely inspired to embark on this makeup journey.I am no where close to being a prfessional, this is strictly amateur LOL. But here are some things I picked up.

COASTAL SCENTS 78 PALETTE
This paletre i LOVE already and i havent even used it yet! lol the colors are so pigmented and there are also 6 blushes included...i will swatch some colors soon to show how the colors appear on a darker skintone. I got this off of Amazon for around $18.00. =]

ELF 100 PALETTE
This palette is amazing. 100 eyeshadows colors, including shimmery, mattes, and satin finishes. it also include brights and neutral colors. I got this from elf.com and it was onlt $10.00!!! ONly downside with this is that the shadows are verrrry powdery. Some colors literally turn into dut once you dip your brush into it. But it's still a good buy none the less. I LOVE elf.com....so many affordable makeup supplies, I'm talking $1-$5!! Can't beat that!

ELF 11 pc BRUSH SET
This brush set was bomb! obviously I already usd it before I even took the pic LOL. But trhis thing come in handy. the bristles are all so soft and the fact that it came in this convienient case is a plus. Some of the brushes are a foundation brush, blender brush, fan brush, and powder bruch. I got this from elf.com for only $30!! That's a good deal condidering that a sinlge MAC brush may cost you around $24...

Part of my growing makeup collection.
Hopefully I won't get too crazy with it LOL

TWO FINGER SNAPS!

image that I just LOVED!

Birthday Madness

Feb 3 was my Birthdayyyyyyy!!!! lol I know I'm late but here is what I wore. Blazer and dress from H&M. Boots from Bakers.
I was insprired by Kim Kardashian hence the blazer with the tight dress. Love the tribal print! That plus the wild hair...Me and my girls partied the night away!!

Outfit of the day

Last month I went to a Lauryn Hill concert. This is what I wore. 3/4 length maxi dress from H&M. Leather Jacket from Guess. Faux fur circle scarf from H&M. Booties from Bakers. Clutch from Forever 21.
I wanted to go for a stylish yet edgy look. I achieved that with the leather jacket but still kept it feminine with the fur scarf..(which I LOVE!) I also wanted to try out the new trend, 3/4 length maxi skirts! the boots were the final touch!
