Print Mania!!!

Prints can be so fun, especially in the summer. In my most recent shopping trips, I made sure to include fun and bold prints into my wardrobe. Prints can be an easy way for me to experiment with new colors and textures! Whether it's tribal, Aztec, or even a classic polka dot, all prints can be transformed into a chic yet edgy look. Juicing towards Weight Loss

Ok, so me and probably 98% of other women are currently striving to get to our "perfect summer body". Yes, I have tried this before (for countless of summers) and no, I have not ever gotten there YET. But this time, I actually have something to motivate me! I plan on going to Miami in July so I am trying to shed as much of my excess weight as I can, the healthy way, of course.

So I tried juicing! I purchased a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer and I love it! I try to juice every morining using fresh fruits and veggies. (Pictured above) Ok, sometimes the juices don't always taste delicious but I still manage to force it down, knowing all of it's health benefits lol.

I've also been trying to stick to a 1200 calorie diet. I count all of my calories and record everything I eat. Surprisingly, I don't find myself being hungry at the end of MOST days. Sometimes I do go over my calorie budget but it's all good. You can fall off the horse but you get to get right back on if you want to see any progress. And I have been seeing some progress! I lost seven pounds in a month, which is a healthy rate. I lost that without even stepping foot in a gym lol. Ugh, I'm too lazy! But now I will try to go to the gym at least for thirty minutes 3-4 times a week.

I'm so excited, not only because I'm actually losing weight but because I know I'm doing it the right way. Can't wait to see what the rest of the summer holds! Are any of you on a healthy lifestyle journey?

Gel Nails Mania

Gel nails are nothing new under the sun, BUT I absolutely love them!
1-They require no dry time
2-They come out super shiny
3-They lasts for a long time

They give your real nails strength and they look a whole lot more natural then applying acrylics! I went to the salon last week to get mine done. This is my second time getting gel nails but I'm sure it will not be my last. Of course I chose to go with a mint color which is very on trend for the season.

Have you guys tried gel nails? Do you love them or do you prefer acrylics?

Urban Decay Haul!! (from Hautelook)

So I was sooo excited to see that Hautelook.com was having a sale on URban DEcay products! I love it because I get to purchase High end cosmetics for a fraction of the cost! Here are a few pics. I purchased Book of Shadows 4 palette, two 24/7 cooncealer pencils in shades CIA and NS, the Urban Lash Kit in number 42611, the Little Sins Eyeshadow Primer Potion Set, and the Ink for Eyes Cream Eyeliner.  

Revlon lip butter swatches!!

I love these things! They are so convenient  to just carry around it my purse. Some colors like, Brown sugar, Pink truffle and Peach parfait are colors that I can just wear everyday because they look nude, yet enhance my natural lip color. Others are more fun like the Tutti Frutti which is a perfect tangerine color for the spring! Some colors are simply too pale for me like Gumdrop and Creme Brulee. I will definitely have to incorporate some sort of darker lip pencils to to make it work for me.

soooo I went a little lipgloss happy...

I ended up buying a set of 36 NYX Round Lipglosses!! I just got them yesterday and I have not tried them all yet but Im so excited to try some colors. I already know I'm going to give some my mom, especialy the darker colors because I dont really where deep, vampy colors. Am I crazy? Or just crazy about GLOSS! lol

Lipglosses always excites me more than any other makeup product, I don't know why. I buy more lipgloss than eyeshadow, mascara, whatever! ugh, I also got 10 Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters. I love them!! I will show them once I get a good pic, but for now, enjoy!
